The Tien Mu B52 F.C. (Incorporating B53 FC) was formed 4
years ago as a social football club, catering for the more
mature player as well as short term visitors to Taipei. From
those early days with barely enough to play 5 a side, the
club now boasts a membership of over 60 players from all over
the world, with a diverse range in age and ability! (Hence
the birth of the 53s). We are looking forward to joining
all the other teams in Thailand for what will be our first
outing on the 7s field, made possible by the generosity and
continued support of our Club sponsors, The Green Bar
and Carnegies Taipei. If you are visiting Taiwan
bring your boots

KL
RED STAR
(Malaysia)
|
 |

|
|
Country: Malaysia
City: Kualalumpur
Team Color: Red/White
Captain: Gordon
Players: British, French,
Malaysian, Danish,
Australian, American,
Irish, Polish...
|
|
Red Star KL was founded in the summer of 2002 in a bar in
Kuala Lumpur by 3 disillusioned footballers... with a dream.
The KL Veterans League is now blessed by a combination of
ex-Asterix Leftover players together with a sprinkling of
J2 players and various other odd bods. The name Red Star is
not in fact a reference to the other lesser known Red Star
(Belgrade) but instead a tribute to a little bar in southern
Thailand of the same name. Each Red Star KL player is expected
to make the pilgrimage to Red Star Bar at least once in their
careers - several members are regulars. Red Star's blend of
players from 4 continents allows for a 'unique' style of play.
Fitness is perhaps not the primary focus of the team's strategy
- generally relying more on speed of thought and sublime footballing
skills... lacking in consistency but a match for anyone on
their day. Key weakness - the bars of Bangsar.

in the style displayed by the proud heritage of elite Irish
athletes such as the mad drunk Irishman tackling the marathon
leader in the Athens Olympics.

Created in 1998 as the "Olympic Camembert", the
French team has been renamed "Les Bleus". The team
mainly gathers French and French-speaking fellows, who are
from all professional horizons, from students to managers.
Spanish, English, Jordanian, Algerian, Chinese, players joined
and enhanced the team this year. Our weekly trainings allow
the teams to be physically present under the work of our 2
coaches. Thanks to them! Les Bleus is probably the most stable
team in the famous Shanghai International Football League.
And, as every year, we alternate all kind of results...But
we achieved this year to win 2 majors trophies;Les Bleus won
the first edition of Guangzhou tournament trophy in December
2003. A lot of fun with frank success! We achieved also won
in the famous SIFL, the bestteamfordrawngames trophy!!...
Well, actually we like compromises! But don't misunderstand:
Les Bleus will be there in Phuket with some winning targets!

|

|

|
|
Country: Indonesia
City: Jakarta
Team Color:
Captain: Lucas
Players: Indonesian,
Singaporean, Canadian,
Chinese.
|
|
Do It Satu Lagi, formerly known as Do It United FC were formed
in May 1993 by Tony Winyard from regulars of the "JJ
Do It!" bar in Jakarta, Indonesia. We compete in the
Jakarta International Football League ( JIFL ), which consists
of mainly expatriate players from all parts of world playing
in 12 different teams, with each team nominally being from
a country or in our case a bar basis. In August 2002 the team
name was changed to Do It Satu Lagi FC as the Satu Lagi bar
have sponsored us for the past 8 years.! Originally a team
of fit, younger players, we have now matured into a team of
not so young, not so fit players with an active youth policy,
being back row, 2nd left, aged 34 years old. This will be
DoIts first overseas tournament, but we do participate
in all the main expatriate 6s tournaments, including
the Bali, ISCI and Knudde 6s. Of the team participating
in this tournament we have old Do It players flying in from
Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Canada and Indonesia.

BAYON
WANDERERS FC (Cambodia)

|
 |

|
|
Country: Cambodia
City: Phnom Penh
Team Color: Yellow/Black
Captain: Billy / Jesse
Players: International
|
|
The impressive 12th century Angkorian Bayon Temple
lends its name to this impressive team. The strength of the
Angkorian Empire is reflected in the depth of the squads
character, and the beauty and elegance of the temples is reflected
in the grace with which they take to the field. Similarly,
the horrific brutality of the ancient Khmer kings is clearly
evident in their violent and erratic behaviour on the pitch.
The Bayon are led by their coach, Billy the Hat with his unique
brand of total football developed in his youth around the
time of Jayavarman VII. He intends to pass this on to his
son Jesse the Kid, the fast rising star of the
team who will lead us, no doubt confidently, into this, the
Bayon century.
Opponents of the Bayon will be victimised this year by a unique
cast of characters from varying backgrounds, all of who now
farm rice. Andrew the Genius, though a convicted felon, will
be teaching lessons in rules-based defense. Watch for Unusual
Dore and Spooky Bo at his side, stopping players with wanton
disregard for their feelings. Expect to see teams simply give
up. Chris the Knowles draws on considerable experience
for what it is that he does. He tends to do it in the middle
of the goal. Erik the Terrible will be doing what is commonly
expected of really tall Dutch: kicking hard and often. Naked
Preben will undoubtedly be seen streaking up the left side.
Fantastic Ewan will score at least twice. Expect to see handsome
and mysterious happenings emanate from Jonas of the Stars.
Beware Rik the Fucker.

SINGAPORE
LIONS FC (Singapore)

|
|

|

|
|
Country: Singapore
City:
Team Color: White
Captain: Jamie
Players:
|
|
The Lions Football Club was formed in 1997 in Singapore and
was originally an amalgamation of non-Dutch Hollandse and
Dynamo TNT players. The first AGM was held at the Sunset Bar
on Sentosa which soon became our 'other' home and where it
was decided by a unanimous vote that we should be called 'The
Spice Boys' - it seemed to fit the mood at the time and was
before the Reds of Liverpool received that famous tag. Unfortunately
having sobered up the following day the name was dropped and
a more suitable name was found.
Our first season was to be our finest yet and the Lions went
on to win the league in true style - losing only one game
despite sacking the coach after only five games. Being a team
of misfits and outcasts from all areas of the globe we have
often been seen as physical and aggressive - not true - we
see ourselves as lovers not fighters and have a unified common
belief in world peace. If we had a motto it would probably
be the line from Platoon - ''we did not fight the enemy, we
fought ourselves and the enemy was within us'' - I think that
just about sums up the Lions spirit and we wouldn't have it
any other way.
